Flex-Rigid
Rigid-flex boards are designed for applications where dynamic dependability is called for or when the design demands a non planar mounting, as is the case for telephones and computers but also in more advanced industrial applications. These boards have better electric properties and compared to traditional PWB`s also make possible a lighter end product. It is not unusual to use HDI in combination.
